Ignite Teams

This picture is of our Participants that had 100% attendance. Team 10 is pretty awesome, and can often be found cooking s'mores in Hess courtyard or painting the rock together. The whole team was a great group, but these five really stood out because they came to every meeting and really contributed to every
Discussion. They were very friendly and fun, I wish I had thought to take pictures with them other than when we painted the rock, but these were the only ones I could find on facebook. This is a picture of the boys, according to the girls we look "awkward" but I disagree. Rhett and Dave are going to do great things at UT.
Hallie and Autumn are in this picture, and they are both really fun, and very sweet. At meetings this year, we talked about all sorts of stuff including: goal setting, fears, conflict resolution, Diversity, and Teamwork. It was really fun to watch my team grow together and be really excited to talk about these things once they got to know each other.

This picture is of the girls, and that includes Bekah, who is quiet and soft spoken, but a huge part of what makes our team awesome. For most of our meetings the team met in Prez Courtyard, but we always had something interesting to talk about. It was so fun to be a TL this year, and I hope my team had as much fun as I did. I think they did.
The Biggest reason our team was great this year plain and simple is because I was lucky enough to get paired up with Jessica. She is incredible. Between being a great student, a great TL, and one of the best in her sorority, Jessica also manages to be a great friend and to always have a smile on her face. She was always there to email our team if I forgot to, or to lead the group discussion if I didn't know how. She was always willing to let me try to lead the group, and she had my back when it got a little rough. Jessica is one of the people you want in your world, and I'm pretty lucky to have her in mine.

The last 8 weeks have been a pretty interesting series of events, and now I start a new chapter in my life, which will begin tomorrow morning at 7am with a program called Alternative Fall Break. I will tell you all about it when I get back, but I can't wait to get started tomorrow. My team is cool, my leaders are great, and I have heard that AFB is one of, if not the, best experiences UT has to offer.
